In the New Main Library, there is a mix of bookable and walk up, first come, first served computers. All computers in the main clusters on the Ground and First Floors are bookable in advance.
You will need your University username and password to log in to the booking system.
If a bookable PC does not have an advance booking, it is available for walk up use.
When you log on it will tell you how long you can use the PC for before the next booking.

If you have not booked in advance, click the link above to check where computers are available to use now.
There are over 320 general use computers in the Main Library.
These are available throughout library opening hours.
You can see which computers are free in the other campus clusters using the PC Availability checker.
There are also Express computers by the Resource Zone on the Ground and First Floor. Log in for 20 minutes only to perform quick tasks, such as checking emails and printing a document.
They have the same functionality as the rest of the computers in the Library and are loaded with the same range of software.
They are available on a first come first served basis.
