We are piloting the MyPC booking system in the Purple Room of the Main Library building. Between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday - Friday (Peak Time) you will be able to book a PC in the Purple Room for up to 2 hours. Outside of these times you can book a PC for up to 4 hours. You can make the booking up to 2 days in advance. On a 2 hour booking you have the option to extend your booking once for up to 30 minutes as long as long as it doesn't overlap any future bookings for that PC. After you booking ends you will need to wait 30 minutes before making a new one.
Please be aware, the system will be unavailable after 11:40pm each evening.
If you don't log in within 15 minutes of the start of your booking it will be cancelled.
Providing there are no imminent bookings on a PC you can also walk up and use it for the time periods shown above.
As we are evaluating the system these settings may be changed based on the feedback we receive.

When you are coming close to the end of your booked session you will be prompted three times. A message popup will be displayed on your screen 10 minutes, 5 Minutes and 3 Minutes before the end of your session.
When you see the first prompt, if you haven't already, please take this opportunity to save your work in an appropriate location. If you have not saved your work by the time your session ends you will lose your work.

When you click the link below you will be asked to log on to the system. You can do this using your Active Directory username and password. If you are unsure what this is please contact the Service Desk on 47171 or online at http://www.itservicedesk.bham.ac.uk.
Did you know you can now book a PC using the MyPC Booking item on either the UoB Mobile App or one of the Kiosk PCs located in the Main Library. There are 4 kiosks available, one in each of the following zones GD, 2D, 3C and 5C.
