Most Main Library PCs are available for walk up use , but PCs in the Purple and Orange Room clusters on the Ground Floor can now be booked in advance .
You will need your normal University username and password to log in to the booking system.
If a bookable PC does not have an advance booking, it is available for walk up use.
When you log on it will tell you how long you can use the PC for before the next booking.
There are over 270 general use PCs in the Main Library, mainly on the Ground Floor as well as a smaller number on the Lower Ground, 1st, 3rd and 5th Floors.
These are available throughout library opening hours.
There are also six express PCs in Zone GC, Ground Floor. Log in for 20 minutes only to perform quick tasks, such as checking emails and printing a document.
They have the same functionality as the rest of the pcs in the Library and are loaded with the same range of software.
They are available on a first come first served basis.
